Micro Macro 2010 - 2012

Micro Macro sources fragments of imagery within small to large systems – both natural and synthetic. Molecular, biological, and celestial patterns are obsessively layered with gestural brushstrokes. One could consider how our surroundings shape our human experience and range from the micro to the macro scale. The colors, forms, and textures change and affect how we perceive the world. These experiences of our environment manifest in both the personal and public realms and it is these moments that drive the work.
